The Over-Prepared Pediatrician

A young pediatrician was hosting a clinic for new parents. She proudly said, “Ask me anything about your baby, and I’ll have an answer!” One nervous dad raised his hand and asked, “Why does my baby cry every time I try to feed her?” Without missing a beat, the pediatrician replied, “Because she’s a baby. That’s her job!” The room laughed, but the dad wasn’t satisfied. “No, really, Doc. What should I do?” The pediatrician grinned. “Oh, that’s easy. Feed her faster than she can argue!” Even the baby giggled at that one—well, almost.
